Marty joined Merrill Private Wealth Management (formerly the Private Banking and Investment Group) in 2006. He brings more than 35 years of experience serving the needs of successful investors and wealthy families. Marty also leads a qualified team that is part of a select group within Merrill’s Sports and Entertainment Program focusing on athletes, coaches and other sports professionals. He has been recognized by Barron's as one of the nation's leading advisors. Marty was named to Barron’s America’s Top 1,200 Advisors: State-by-State list for Indiana every year since the list’s inception in 20091. He was named to the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Financial Times Top 400 Advisors List2 and his team was also named to Research Magazine's Advisor Hall of Fame in 20143. Since 2018, he has been named to Forbes "Best-in-Wealth Advisors" list4.
Marty's financial services career began in 1985 as a Financial Advisor with Thomson McKinnon Securities, Inc. Prior to Merrill, he served as managing Director for McDonald Investments, Inc. for 16 years. Marty received an A.B. from Wabash College and graduated from the Executive Financial Management program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
He has served on the board of the Carmel Dad’s Club, the American Red Cross Greater Indianapolis Chapter, the Indiana Civic Theatre, and a NYSE-listed company. Marty resides in Carmel with his family.

Jake joined Merrill Private Wealth Management (formerly Private Banking and Investment Group) in 2006. Often working with multiple generations of our clients’ families, he helps to develop long-term planning and investment strategies that are non-correlated to their “professional risk” and in-sync with their personal values. From our understanding comes thoughtfully constructed strategies and rational responses. We focus extensively on enhancing intergenerational wealth – collaborating with our firm’s extensive resources, as well as our clients’ CPAs and attorneys. Jake focuses on our group’s portfolio analysis and evaluating each client’s investment strategy for its ability to mitigate risk and achieve steady growth. Jake holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Prior to Merrill, Jake worked for Wells Fargo Bank. Before entering the financial services industry, he spent time playing professional football. Jake graduated from Wabash College with a degree in Economics and serves on the board of the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men. Jake resides in Carmel with his family.
Brian joined Merrill in 2007. He serves as an advisor to High Net Worth and emerging High Net Worth relationships focusing on retirement income planning, portfolio development, liability management, tax minimization, and asset preservation. He holds both the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He was also named to the Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2019.
Prior to Merrill, Brian served as a Financial Advisor for Wachovia Securities for 10 years following a decade as an associate for The Tom Lange Company. Brian graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Agriculture Economics. He volunteers with Gleaners Food Bank. Brian resides in Carmel with his family.

Ryan McCormack joined Merrill as a Team Financial Advisor in 2017. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Counseling and Planning. While at Purdue, Ryan was involved with furthering the Financial Planning landscape on campus by leading a first-year financial planning peer mentor program that fostered activities by engaging the Financial Planning Association of Indianapolis. Ryan resides in Zionsville.
Conrad joined Merrill Private Wealth Management in 2020. As a participant in the Bank of America / Merrill Training Program, Conrad focuses on relationship management and goals-based wealth planning.
Prior to Merrill, Conrad completed a successful career as a professional baseball player for several MLB organizations. While playing baseball, Conrad’s passion and interest for helping people led him to start a private baseball and fitness academy focusing on developing young athletes and assisting adults of all ages reach their personal wellness goals and objectives.
Conrad received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Finance and Entrepreneurship, also earning numerous accolades and awards from their baseball program. He currently resides in Westfield, IN with his family.
Janice joined the Gregor Private Wealth Group in 2014, and has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry including working for Merrill in Chicago for 7 of those years. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Financial Counseling and Planning. Her primary responsibilities include client money movement, fed fund wires, automatic transfers, and client service requests.
Kim joined Merrill in 2017 with 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. She focuses on relationship coordination, portfolio maintenance and client administration. Her role includes monthly and quarterly reporting oversight. Kim also manages client inquiries drawing on her vast experience to deliver timely solutions. Prior to Merrill, Kim served as a Portfolio Associate at Morgan Stanley. Kim resides in Noblesville with her family.
Cathleen began her career in the financial industry in 2011, and she has worked at Merrill since 2014. She is responsible for providing clients with a high level of service in various operational and administrative areas. She has built long-standing relationships with clients through an extensive understanding of services offered by Merrill. She currently holds Series 7 & 66 FINRA registrations. When not working, Cathleen likes spending time with family and following the Pacers and Colts.
