Robert Matluck has three decades of financial services experience. Bob began his career in 1983 at a major investment bank in New York City. He assumed progressive operational and leadership roles at the firm, ultimately serving as president and co-chief executive officer. Bob played a key role in executing the sale of the firm to a large international investment bank in 2007. He then joined a large wealth management firm in 2009 before joining the Private Banking and Investment Group (now Merrill Private Wealth Management) at Merrill in 2013.
Bob’s background has provided him with extensive insight into the opportunities and challenges of private business owners and entrepreneurs. He combines his hands-on knowledge of business management with in-depth understanding of alternative investments, asset allocation, equity opportunities and portfolio design. Bob offers clients a nuanced understanding of the investment process, bolstered by practical exposure to underlying business environments.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Washington University. He is a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis.
Bob lives in Chappaqua, New York, with his wife and three children. He belongs to The Whippoorwill Country Club in Armonk, New York.

Lee Konopka began his financial services career in 1992. He worked in investment banking and wealth management before joining the Private Banking and Investment Group (now Merrill Private Wealth Management) at Merrill.
Lee helps ultra-affluent clients define and pursue wealth management initiatives across multiple contexts: family, business, philanthropy and legacy. He has significant experience in equity research, analysis and trading. His decades of experience in the capital markets have exposed him to numerous market cycles and financial environments. He applies a relative value approach to portfolio design.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Manhattanville College. He is a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. Lee and his wife live in Rye, New York, and have four children. In his free time, Lee is an avid golf and tennis player. He is active with a number of national and local charities, particularly Autism Speaks.
Jon has worked in financial services since 2006. He began his career at an investment banking firm in the asset management division, where he oversaw due diligence and asset allocation for high net-worth clients. Following the sale of the firm in 2007, Jon moved into Equities Sales & Trading, providing research and sales coverage to hedge fund clients. Upon completion of his MBA in 2011 Jon joined a major investment bank as a Fixed Income trader.
Since joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2014, Jon has taken a holistic approach to managing clients’ wealth. He focuses on existing client relationships and new business development.
Jon resides in New York City with his wife, Amanda and their two children. In his free time, Jon is an avid skier and golfer. He holds a B.S. in Management from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Rachel’s 15 year career at Merrill has allowed her to develop deep and thorough experience across capital markets, investment strategy, complex derivatives and OTC transactions, and most importantly, the opportunity to engage with ultra-high net worth families, institutions, and endowments. Rachel’s latest role at Merrill consisted of coaching financial advisors on portfolio construction and optimization as a Director in the Investment Solutions Group. Prior to that, as a Vice President in the Capital Markets Group, Rachel advised on tactical capital market solutions including market-linked investments, new issues, UIT’s, and closed end funds, as well as advising clients on strategies to diversify, monetize, and hedge concentrated stock positions. Additionally, Rachel worked in the Office of the CIO, providing thought leadership on investment guidance, tactical asset allocation, market commentary for advisors and clients.
Rachel’s opportunity to join the MKM Group in 2020 was a natural transition given her competency, proficiency, and capabilities serving clients and advisors for the past 15 years. Rachel’s three main pillars of focus within the MKM Group include: 1) Asset Allocation, Investment Guidance, & Manager Selection, 2) Concentrated Stock Advice & Capital Markets Transactions, and 3) Business Development. In addition, Rachel will be focused on expanding current relationships with legacy families, offering the opportunity to connect with second and third generation family members. She is also particularly interested in expanding her professional relationships with Women business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives in the finance, hedge fund, and private equity sectors.
Rachel earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor through the College for Financial Planning. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
Rachel currently resides in New York City with her husband Ryan and bernese mountain dog Zoey. When not in NYC you can find them hiking in Rachel’s home state of Vermont or skiing out west.

Janine has worked in financial services since 1996. She began her career at an investment banking firm in the asset management division, where she oversaw the operational and administrative needs of client investments in private placements and hedge funds. Janine then transferred to another major private wealth management company, where she continued her focus on operational initiatives and assisting ultra-high-net worth clients, and joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2013.
Janine plays vital roles in operations and client communications. She has extensive senior level experience in client support, administration and operations and brings a detail-oriented/personal approach to client service.
Janine earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University. She lives in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. In her free time, she volunteers with Jersey Cares, Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
